What is The Value-Driven Data Professional?
The Value-Driven Data Professional is a private training programme for data and AI teams, facilitated live by Nick Zervoudis. Five half-day sessions plus three follow-up group calls, run in person or virtually, shaped around the roadmap your team already has in flight.
Your team leaves with one shared way to discover valuable opportunities, estimate ROI, prioritise trade-offs, and explain impact to senior stakeholders. It is also known as ROI of Data and AI.

These are the patterns this programme is designed to change.

The solution
Embed commercial and product thinking in the team's
The Value-Driven Data Professional programme builds the product, commercial, and stakeholder skills data teams need to become indispensable partners to the business.
Speak the language of the business
Quantify the financial value of data and AI initiatives in a way senior stakeholders can understand and challenge.
Master discovery techniques
Stop delivering things just because someone asked for them. Learn how to ask why, clarify the business problem, and avoid jumping straight into requirements.
Prioritise for maximum impact
Identify the work most likely to create value, then use frameworks to get buy-in for what the team should do and what it should say no to.
Communicate with clarity
Write and speak to business stakeholders in the language of outcomes, decisions, trade-offs, and value rather than technical jargon.
Team outcomes
Give the team a shared commercial operating
Four shifts you should see once the habits land.
Better investment decisions
Your team gets better at surfacing value, risk, trade-offs, and assumptions before work becomes expensive.
Shared commercial language
People stop relying on vague impact claims and start using a consistent way to explain value and prioritisation.
Less order-taking
Teams learn how to challenge weak requests without sounding obstructive or theoretical.
Higher-value roadmap
The strongest engagements use live work, so the training creates immediate prioritisation and framing outputs.
